I formulated the Renaissance Balm after reviewing a study from The Environmental Working Group that outlined that the average [American] puts 168 chemicals on their body every single day. I was horrified to find out that my skin care routine was full of toxic petroleum derived chemicals. I tried some organic alternative moisturizers like coconut oil and shea butter but found that they left my skin feeling oily and just not that moisturized once the oiliness subsided. I sought out to create an organic, chemical-free moisturizer that can be used daily, without compromising the consistency I enjoyed through my old skin-care routine.
While this product was developed for use as a facial moisturizer, the sky’s the limits as the moisturizing and antimicrobial properties excel not only on the face but on chapped lips, sunburns as well as a ‘leave-in conditioner’
This product is amazing for treating both systemic and occasional acne for two main reasons. Love this stuff!!! I started using Tallow Balm in college and it’s become a staple in my life. There are a couple things that set the renaissance balm apart from other products.
1) the smell – it smells great despite using no toxic fragrances (I’ve noticed some other brands can get an unpleasant smell after a while but I’ve had the renaissance balm for months now – no foul odor).
2) healing properties – I got a pretty gnarly sunburn surfing a week or so ago and the renaissance balm actually stopped my skin from peeling!
3) customer service – this is an American company with excellent customer care, never once have I sat on the phone talking to a robot – this guy really does care about his customers.
I got myself some balm and some for my girlfriend, we both love it and will be customers for life.

Amazing product. I started using it about a month ago and it has helped with dry skin, especially around my nose. One thing I noticed since using it is a lot less blackheads on my nose. I never had them bad but they were there. This helped that somehow because it’s the only thing I put on my face. Keeps my skin super smooth. Highly recommend
